Surrounded by the rich historic architecture and pastoral landscapes of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Jamie spent his childhood inspired by simple beauty. Immersed in landscapes where streams course along the walls of 18th century mills and where scented hedgerows, Sycamore allées, and stone farm houses roll along meadows and fields, he fell in love with the dialogue between nature and building.

With over 25 years of experience in residential landscape architecture, he has built upon his love to create places of strength and beauty. Jamie has worked on projects in Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana, Florida, and the French West Indies. His travel throughout the United States and abroad, including studies in art and architecture in Rome has given Jamie a diverse and layered foundation to best serve his clients unique tastes.

Jamie’s passion lies in the design and management of timeless landscapes. His thoughtful gardens exhibit the richness and permanence of tradition with the clarity and refinement of contemporary aesthetics. Jamie fosters his relationship with his clients through careful and continued discussion. His involvement in a project from sketch to trowel ensures the uncompromised realization of the shared vision.

His work and interests have led him to serve on Architectural Review Boards in the District of Columbia and Maryland as well as serving as the President of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art.
